Nendoroid Raspberyl

I got Raspberyl, made by Phat Company, last month from Hobby Search for 3,167 Yen or about $36.60 (not including shipping). Raspberyl is a delinquent demon from the Playstation 3 game Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice. Unfortunately since I don’t own a PS3 I haven’t played the game. She is also an unlockable character in the PSP game Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days. I have the PS2 version but she’s not in it. I’ve watched enough videos and seen her in action enough to like her character though. I’m most likely going to get a PSP in the near future as well. I really hope this is just the beginning of Disgaea Nendoroids, as I would especially love to see Flonne, Laharl and Etna be made. Hobby Search has her in stock at the time I’m writing this post, so if you’re interested in purchasing her from there here’s the link. Now, on to the review!

Raspberyl comes with 3 faces: happy, surprised and angry, all of which I really love. She also comes with two extra arms, an extra hand, a piece of meat on a bone, her spell book that can open and close and last but not least her adorable glasses. Her hair piece has grooves on the inside for the glasses to fit snugly in, but you can put the glasses on other Nendoroids pretty easily. There’s so much to love about this Nendoroid I really can’t find anything to complain about. Raspberyl’s spell book opens up and has some detailed symbols and writing on it, not to mention it’s teeth. Her meat has a bite out of it and the bottom bone part comes off so you can slide it into her hand. Her tail is attached to her rear, so it doesn’t come off unless you swap her butt out with another nendo butt. She’s detailed in every place she needs to be and the accessories make her really fun to play with. I imagine plenty of people who don’t even play Disgaea but like Nendoroids would admire her. She also looks great in a pumpkin as you may have seen in my Halloween post. The only thing I could ask for is more Disgaea Nendoroids for her to hang out with.

I decided it’d be nice to throw in a couple songs from Raspberyl’s chapter OST. So here you go~
So, all in all this is another Nendoroid that I am very happy to own. If you’re a fan of demons, especially delinquent ones with spell books and megane, or perhaps you’re a die-hard Disgaea lover, this is a Nendoroid for you. No regrets here, Raspberyl was worth every cent.

I received it this week and i admit she’s became my favorite nendoroid. As much for the 3 faces then for included accessories. The booklet with teeth made me laugh.
Quality is at the top
Great photos series by the way

lylibellule – I think she’s become my favorite nendo too, though Melissa Seraphy and her can fight over that spot.
It’s true that Seraphy is cute too

haha she’s really cute, and I like the variety of accessories given in this one. Makes it all much more worth it to buy.
chubbybots – I agree ^^ I’m looking to expand my nendo collection too, at first I didn’t think I’d like them much but they’re growing on me.
konadora – I wish all nendos came with a bunch of accessories, it really makes them all the more worth getting that way.
