Nendoroid Sanae Kochiya

Sanae Kochiya comes from Touhou Project, and she is the wind priestess and shrine maiden to Moriya Shrine. She made her first appearance in Touhou 10: Mountain of Faith, and has appeared in 4 other official Touhou games as a playable character or a boss. This is the Nendoroid by GoodSmile Company, and I purchased her from Otacute. I’m quite happy with my purchase, as they even included a some little GoodSmile racing decals in the package for free. The best thing is she was fairly priced, though the shipping brought her to a total of about $65. Still fair considering she’s not in-stock and it might take a bit of hunting to find her now, unless they get more in. Sanae is my first Touhou Nendoroid, and boy do I regret not having gotten the first two, considering how much I love this one, as well as Touhou itself. Click to see the full review!
Pretty basic Nendoroid box. Nothing too special. Sanae Kochiya is Nendoroid #103.
Sanae comes with her gohei, two hands for holding it, 2 open hands, 5 extra sleeve parts and a hand pointing, as well as 3 total faces. She also has a piece of hair on her left side with a snake in it, which can be moved or removed. Her paintjob is pretty normal for a Nendo, a few minor flaws but otherwise great. The base is pretty impressive, as it has a pentagram on it and it’s painted. I really love when bases aren’t just boring chunks of plastic. She is held up by a support on the base that is placed on a ball joint. She doesn’t seem to have any problem staying on her stand like some Nendos tend to. Her arms do have a bit of a problem staying in sometimes but I guess that’s pretty normal with Nendoroids. She’s not really loaded with stuff, mostly just variants of her miko costume’s sleeves, but she’s cute enough to make up for it.
