Warning – !Under Construction!

You might notice that things look a lot different right now. I’ve changed the wordpress theme I’m using and I’m trying to mess with the layout and do something different. It’s about time I got a fresh new look. Be warned things will look out of place from time to time. Let me know if you have any suggestions, I could use some input. I’ll still be posting regularly but don’t be surprised if things change a bit here and there. Blogroll will return soon, as soon as I figure out where to put it. For how long did you had the previous layout?
I’ve been around and things works perfectly. ^^

phossil – I had the previous layout for about a year and 3 months.
People all changing their layouts or themes, why should I follow suit despite mine being around for over a year too!
This new background is a little harsh on the eyes since it contrasts with the white of this blog column, so you might want to do something about that.

Panther – I’ve always wanted something different but I’m not really educated in site design. I got sick of the way things looked and have craved change for a while now. The background was only temporary while I decided what to do. Now I need to fix the comments section as I don’t really like how it looks..
So far I am liking the new layout, taking a bit of getting used to with the banner, but I know it is still under construction and you are working hard at it. If you need any help you know where to find me.:D Looking good so far though. I’m actually getting used to the way the pictures are lined up. Looks nice so far.

It’s good to change things up every now and then ^^ The new theme seems pretty neat but maybe could use more contrast with the font.
The banner also seems to have too much space above it. Might want to edit the #header clause in your CSS and change the 130px padding to something smaller.

ooo new look, exciting ^^ i know blowfish was both managing a webhost crisis + changing themes… you guys are both making me want to update my own site ^^;;
i don’t have as much freedom since i’m still on wordpress.com but i imagine i still should have quite a bit of flexibility using the custom css w/the sandbox theme…
nice modern feel to the theme, i like it ^^

anon.object – thanks, I wanted to get rid of that empty space I just wasn’t sure about how to go about it, I’m new to this XD taken care of now ^^ Thanks for the input
meronpan – haha well I didn’t have webhost crisis luckily, but I’ve been wanting to do this for quite some time and I finally decided to make the jump thanks to Blowfish actually ^^ Glad you like it, and no need to change the look unless you’re ready to.
been a while since ive last been here. btw the layout is a little wierd on wide screens (1920/1680 namely)
the left/right parts apart from the main section is having wierd blocks coming out, kinda like a 2nd layer underneath the page itself thats looking a little out of place
other than that, pretty good change

divinelight – thanks, good to know. Yep it’s a premium theme, I wasn’t liking some of the options the new twenty ten was giving me so I decided to try this out.

Picking out a new site layout is such a pain for me. It starts out fun but then I just get annoyed with my inability to take a tamplate and really customize it just how I want it. But alas all I can do is turn widdgets on and off. I really need a new banner, the banner I have now was just supposed to be a temporary place holder.

lovelyduckie – I know exactly how you feel. I’m not that great with these sort of things either and it annoys me when I can’t get things looking the way I want. This isn’t the best look but I think it’s better than before at least. My banner was supposed to be temporary too, I got a few ideas in the mix right now and hopefully I can get something new up there soon.

I like this new layout. I t’s easy on the eyes and it has a very metallic look. Goes well with all those mecha musume .^ ^
