Pixy Hiyori comes from the eroge Chu x Chu Idol: The Idol is a Vampire!?(NSFW link). I’ve played a little bit of the game a while back when I first heard about the figures from it, though it hasn’t been translated into English. In case you didn’t notice in the title, I’m going to warn you right away that this review will not be safe for work. I’m also going to try something different this time by using the pictures straight from my Flickr account. If you prefer I switch back to the old way let me know. This will be the first true ecchi figure review I’ve done. If you don’t like ecchi turn back now. Now for the figure details. Pixy Hiyori is 1/8 scale PVC by GoodSmile Company. I bought her from OtakuFuel for $67.95, and she doesn’t seem to be in stock anymore because there’s no add to cart button.
Pixy comes with removable belt-like outfit, removable leggings and her pumpkin hat. Ah, and yes she also comes with two thin antennae-like hair pieces that go in above her ears. I had a small amount of difficulty getting them in because they are easily breakable, but with a little patience it was done. The pumpkin hat is magnetic so it stays in place quite well. Her right foot has two holes in the bottom to put into the two pegs in the base. She seems to be held onto the base well enough and balancing nicely so I’m not too worried about leaning or anything. Pixy’s leggings are removable from the belts of the outfit, much like garter belts would hold up stockings. The leggings themselves split in two for complete removal, if you look close you might notice the lines in them where they come apart. In all actuality they’re quite easy to see which is probably the only flaw in this figure, but it doesn’t even warrant a complaint from me. To remove her scant outfit itself you need to carefully remove her head and lift it over her, all the belts on it are semi-flexible so you needn’t worry about breaking them unless you’re not the least bit careful. Her sculpt is perfect. I love everything from her optical eyes to her cute butt. Admit it, you like her butt. I especially like her bracelets and the shading of color in her hair and eyes. The belt-like outfit is pretty cool too in my opinion. I suppose the only other thing to talk about is her base, which although simple is detailed with the Chu x Chu Idol: The Idol is a Vampire!?(NSFW link) logo on it. Now, once you cast her off, she stands bare-chested but her nether regions remain covered. Of course, what good would it to buy such a figure and not include pictures of her in cast-off mode? You did read this far right? Behold!
O.k. So it’s my first time doing ecchi cast-off pictures, I’m not sure if I did a good job but I think they turned out decent at the least. Yes, her nipples are pale and they don’t stick out like a sore thumb, but I think that’s perfectly natural, every woman is different. Overall this figure was a great get for a decent price, and it’s made by a figure company that I trust. Usually I try and stick with characters from anime, but in this case, thanks to a little encouragement (more like demands) from Riiana, I took a walk on the ecchi side. I haven’t actually played all the way through Pixy’s arc in the eroge, but I’ll be sure to get around to it soon. I’d also like to point anyone who might be interested in more about Pixy herself or the game to Wolfheinrich’s Chu x Chu Idol review, where you’ll find out what the actual story is about as well as who Pixy is and why she wears that big pumpkin hat. I found it quite interesting indeed. No, Pixy does not qualify as loli.

Yes, it’s my passion to understand the background story of each figurine I own, Hiyori is no exception. Since there isn’t an anime adaption of Chu x Chu Idol, I figure there are going to be people who want to know her story. After finish the game, I noticed she has a decent story and the game was fun so I decided to write her story so more people can appreciate her the way it’s meant to be.
No idea what is Chu x Chu about, but she looks good!

Wolfheinrich – an anime adaption wouldn’t bother me, though I doubt it’d ever happen. It’s a shame someone doesn’t release an English patch for the game, but if I keep studying I’ll be able to understand it all eventually. Until that day comes, reviews like yours are what keeps people in the know ^^

I’m sure I’ll be doing more cast-off figures in the future, thanks to Riiana corrupting me XD As for playing the eroge, well I got a long way to learning Japanese to the point of understanding things, but I’m getting better slowly. I don’t mind it because the more I’m exposed to written Japanese the more I can comprehend, though it does hurt the brain after a while.

@persocom ah, i shoulda been more specific… if you do leave them off but the top on.. the pegs on the top for the leggings to attach are visible… and i’d rather have the leggings than the visible pegs ^^;
