I’ve been meaning to write something up about Tsuki-Board for quite some time now, but I just never got around to it. I figure it’s due time I talk about the site though, since the site is celebrating it’s first birthday. I know many of you are already Tsuki-Board members and most likely on my friends list there too, but for those of you who haven’t heard of Tsuki-Board I’ll explain it a little. Tsuki-Board was created by kumasanmk a year ago, and has grown into a huge community since then. You can find almost any figure old or new on there, add it to your collection, your wish list or your pre-order list, rank the figures you own, submit and view pictures of figures, write or read reviews and much more. In fact today I just learned that one of my suggestions of a widget for bloggers was used and it’s available for everyone to use! Tsuki-Board continues to improve and grow frequently and if you are a figure collector I urge you to check it out! I use it to track pre-orders, hunt down figures and share pictures with others so they can see more than just a preview image, it’s also helped me network with other bloggers that I wouldn’t have found otherwise. For those of you who want to get further involved there are also various clubs, from FigmaAddicts, to Collection & Figure Tips, to the one I run called Hatsune Miku Fan, and of course everything in between. You can take part in discussions and make suggestions for the site like I did. They have a cute mascot named Tsuko-tan and a variety of banners for people who want to show them love on their site/blog, not to mention this awesome new widget that works great! If you’re already a member and unsure of how to find the new widgets, it’s under the My Home section, underneath your normal tabs. Here’s a few examples, of course color/size/etc can be modified:

With Tsuki-Board, you can find out what figures have been bootlegged, and share pictures of the bootlegged versions to compare to the real figures out there. There are many cool features and of course they’re always open for suggestions on how to improve/enhance the site. If you’re a figure collector like me, and chances are you just might be if you’re reading this, I highly recommend this site! If you are already there or end up joining, you can find me on there as persocomsan. Happy 1st Birthday to Tsuki-Board!

kumasanmk – no problem, I should have done it ages ago.

Blowfish – I guess I joined in July, I think I had about 3-4 figures at that time.

konadora – if you use the defaults you should be fine, the images rotate from your owned figure list on their own so you don’t pick which ones to show

Bictlori – glad you like it ^^

Interesting, I guess I should join this Tsuki board too! For all these years I have been on a solo mission to collect figures and I didn’t know there is this huge community of collectors until I accidentally bump dannychoo.com earlier this year (it was really an accident). Now, I haven’t been frantically trying to introduce myself to this new community.

I hope you don’t mind if I add you to my newly formed blogroll :)

Wolfheinrich – of course not, I didn’t realize there was such a vast community for this either until I came across DannyChoo last year. Of course, I wasn’t even looking for figure stuff when I found his site, I was looking for information on living in Japan and stumbled across it. I got sucked into all the different content on his site and that kind of pushed me to buy my first figures. For years I had thought about getting them but didn’t understand why I’d want them, now I get it XD
