Time sure does fly, it’s already the Miku Hatsune’s 2nd birthday (or 18th depending on how you look at it), in Japan at least. Us fans here in the West are a little behind in time. This year I’m just going to post up some of my favorite Miku videos. I know I’ve been pretty inactive lately but life has been pretty busy. It’s somewhat related, but anyone else excited about the Black Rock Shooter anime? I think it’s pretty cool that Miku recently had her first “live” concert at Animelo and that they’re making an anime semi-based on a song that she sings. I know Black Rock Shooter isn’t Miku but I thought it relevant to mention since it’s a popular Miku song. Looking forward to next month’s (hopefully it’s not delayed) World is Mine Miku figure!

One Year of Animatic Figmation

Actually, I’m four days late for this, but that’s ok. Only July 20th, 2008, I started my first blog at blogspot, with the same name as this one. I wasn’t sure what I’d end up blogging about but I knew that I had figures ordered on the way and that I’d likely be blogging about them and anime that I watched. I wouldn’t have come up with the idea of blogging had I not been a lurker at DannyChoo.com. I also wouldn’t be here blogging now if it weren’t for the many people that have inspired me and visited my blog in the last year, no matter what their reason for being here was. I’d like to take this time to thank all of you. I’m not going to cite specific names, because if you’re viewing this blog for any reason then I thank you! It’s hard to believe that a whole year has gone by already. I wasn’t really prepared for the one year mark, which is why I’m a bit late. I don’t have statistics for you, in fact I don’t have any idea how many hits I’ve gotten, not even an estimate. It’s not hits that count to me though. What counts to me is whether or not the content that’s posted here helps, inspires or at the very least entertains someone out there. Anyways I do have a bit more to say, but for those of you uninterested I’ll cut short here, for those of you who do care, read on.

Well, I might be a day late in some timezones, but for me it’s only the morning of the 27th. December 27th marks Rin & Len Kagamine’s first birthday. I figured I should do a birthday post for the Kagamine twins since I did one for Miku. So I present you a small gallery of pictures and a few videos. Happy Birthday Rin & Len! Well, this is my birthday goodies!:D Although a day late was still a lot of fun! And yes, I got impatient and started cutting the cake before anyone could take pictures! Oops!:P

This is a game I really enjoy playing, and also sprouted a major interest in cosplay for me!:D
As promised here is my rendition of a Kooh cosplay, not the greatest yet, but for spontaneousness and quick outfit changes this is what I already had laying around and put together myself!:D Hope you all enjoy!:D Hoping to add onto this costume in the future.:D
Also, at a later time will cosplay Ohno and Ougie from “Genshiken”!:D I can already see where an addiction comes from doing cosplay!:D Had way too much fun with this today, once my brain started thinking about poses more!:D:P

Finally recieved Yoko Mousepad in the mail!:D:D Waited so impatiently for this even though in reality it didn’t take very long for it to ship. 
This was the one present that I wanted for my birthday, and, although a day late, am very happy with it!:D I was surprised at the weight of the mousepad… and the box it came in looked very cool… pictures below:

Miku Hatsune’s first birthday was today (or 17th if you go by the age they made her from the start), I felt weird because it’s technically not the 31st here yet, but since it’s almost officially, and Japan is hours and hours ahead of me, I had to post something here. So for Miku’s birthday I present to you a small gallery of Miku pix and a couple cute videos I found last night.
