This Figma hails from the Lucky Star OVA. Here we have Kagami Hiiragi from Lucky Star cosplaying as Miku Hatsune. She was bought from good ol’ Hobby Search for the reasonable price of 2,261 Yen. Recently I acquired this older figure (originally released May of 2006) from Ebay, probably the worst place to buy figures in the entire world. The price, location of seller and 100% positive feedback was what convinced me to buy. The seller lived in the same state as me and free shipping. I paid $24.99 for Kanako, although she’s used and there’s a few spots where you can tell. She’s got the AAA sticker and the shiny sticker on the box to prove she’s not a fake. Kanako Ohno is from the manga/anime series Genshiken (which I thoroughly enjoyed), and she’s a cosplay fanatic. Ever since I saw the 2 seasons and OVA of Genshiken I’ve wanted a figure of her, but I never got around to finding one I liked in stock in stores. Go figure right after I bought her they restocked her at Hobby Search, where I usually get my figures from. Still, I’m happy to own her and especially at such a low price, even if she’s not in perfect condition. Anyways, on to the review. Well, this is my birthday goodies!:D Although a day late was still a lot of fun! And yes, I got impatient and started cutting the cake before anyone could take pictures! Oops!:P

This is a game I really enjoy playing, and also sprouted a major interest in cosplay for me!:D
As promised here is my rendition of a Kooh cosplay, not the greatest yet, but for spontaneousness and quick outfit changes this is what I already had laying around and put together myself!:D Hope you all enjoy!:D Hoping to add onto this costume in the future.:D
Also, at a later time will cosplay Ohno and Ougie from “Genshiken”!:D I can already see where an addiction comes from doing cosplay!:D Had way too much fun with this today, once my brain started thinking about poses more!:D:P

Finally recieved Yoko Mousepad in the mail!:D:D Waited so impatiently for this even though in reality it didn’t take very long for it to ship. 
This was the one present that I wanted for my birthday, and, although a day late, am very happy with it!:D I was surprised at the weight of the mousepad… and the box it came in looked very cool… pictures below:

For the first time in like 5 years or more now I will actually have my birthday off work!!:D And I came up with the best idea for it!:D I think Wednesday mid-morning, I am going to go to the mall with my husband and son and play “Glow Golf” In my lolita dress cosplaying as Kooh from the game “Albatross 18″!!:D I pictured the whole thing in my head when I was bored out of my mind at work last night (It was insanely slow all day for a Sunday:P)!
And after 3PM that day I will be getting my tattoo done, and I finally figured out exactly how I am going to do it, I am going to get Tama (The tiger from “Hayate The Combat Butler”) with a pink bow on his head, and a tiny red heart on his forehead!:P I came up with this decision with the help of my husband Perscom-San after deciding that I needed to research my original idea a little more before getting my mom’s name done in Kanji below the tiger, I want to make sure it is done exactly right, … so does anyone know the Kanji and/or the pronunciation for the name Maxine?… Please let me know!:D Thanks!:D I look forward to a great birthday, with many surprises!:D And tomorrow will be my “What’s In My Bag?” post!:D:P
