Haruhi Suzumiya Figma

This is one of the oldest figures in my collection, and up until now I hadn’t done a review for her. I bought this Haruhi Suzumiya Figma well over a year ago from Kid Nemo, a store that I no longer buy from due to their inability to answer e-mails or notify when things go out of stock (such was the case back when I used to buy from them regularly, I’m not sure how they are now). I can’t even find the e-mail or anything saying how much I bought her for anymore. I’d assume around $30 at the time. Ok, on second look she sells at Kid Nemo for $44.99 (ouch). I had ordered Yuki as my first Figma ever, and shortly after Riiana wanted me to get Haruhi to go with her. Anyways I’m finally getting to my review, better late than never. Read More
Itsuki Koizumi Figma

This is a review that I suppose is overdue. I bought Itsuki Koizumi Figma on sale for only $14.99 (+$8 shipping) at Toylet Collectibles back in September. It’s the only experience I’ve had buying from them so far, and it was a good one. I had planned to get him and Kyon to finish the set of the main Haruhi cast when I had a time when nothing was coming out that I really wanted and I had the extra money, so the sale was perfect. Of course he’s still available there but you’ll have to pay $33.99 now. Anyways this is one of a few overdue figure reviews I will be doing this week. After a bit of misfortune Mikuru Asahina Fighting Waitress Ver. Figma by Max Factory is in good condition and ready for her time in the spotlight. I bought her from the usual suspect, Hobby Search for 2,261 Yen. At the time of writing this post though, she’s sold out there, so you may want to look elsewhere if you want to buy her. Tsuruya-san Culture Festival Maid Ver. Figma

Another Figma version of Tsuruya was recently released by Max Factory, and I couldn’t pass it up. Tsuruya is of course, from the manga/novel/anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, where she plays a side character. Yuki Nagato Gekisou Ver. 1/8 PVC by Max Factory

Yuki Nagato Gekisou Ver. 1/8 PVC by Max Factory arrived here a few days ago. I ordered her from Hobby Search for 7,057 Yen. Of course, she is already sold out there at the time of writing up this post, so you’ll have to look elsewhere or wait for a re-release if you’re interested in this figure. Again, Yuki Nagato is from the ultra-popular anime/manga/novel The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, though she hardly needs an introduction. She’s also the third figure in the Gekisou series. This is my first actual PVC and non-action figure of Yuki, and it’s got to be one of the best on the market. I could be biased though, she’s my favorite character from the anime.
