Happy Halloween from Raspberyl Seraphy!

I know I’ve been away from this blog for over a month now, for various reasons, but it’s time for me to get this back up and running and what better way then to celebrate one of me favorite holidays! I recently acquired nendoroid Raspberyl and while we were carving a pumpkin I decided to get Melissa Seraphy, Pixie Hiyori and a couple others to make guest appearances. I’ll be doing the actual review of Raspberyl soon. Since last year I didn’t do a post for Halloween I wasn’t going to let it slip by unnoticed again this year! Of course, this post is a bit late seeing as it’s nearing November first as I write this, but what can I say we took our son out trick-or-treating and haven’t gotten home until just a bit ago. Nendoroid Melissa Seraphy

So in my last haul I finally acquired the Nendoroid Melissa Seraphy by GoodSmile Company. I was browsing through DannyChoo.com and happened across a classified ad for her. I wasn’t planning on buying any more figures this month because I have more pre-orders on their way, but when I saw her available for $55 (including shipping) I couldn’t resist. I’ve long wanted both the Nendoroid and PVC versions of Melissa Seraphy, so I decided to seize the opportunity that was before me and get her while I had a chance. She comes from the visual novel Wagamama Capriccio, which unfortunately I’ve never played. I might try and find it eventually though. Hopefully I’m able to find the PVC before Halloween this year, because last year I didn’t do a special Halloween figure shoot. I took pictures but I wasn’t satisfied with them and Halloween is busy for a parent in the US. Black Rock Shooter Haul +

I realize I’ve been slacking on posting lately, but I have a few posts in the process right now. I would have done something else today, but I woke up to the mailman knocking on the door. Four packages arrived today, I got my 3 Black Rock Shooter shirts, 2 Black Rock Shooter mugs, 2 Black Rock Shooter notepads, and a Shana & Kazumi Yoshida PVC set all from Hobby Link Japan. Not to mention a few days ago I got a Jigoku Shoujo shirt from them as well. Todays haul also includes 1 Melissa Seraphy Nendoroid obtained from Dannychoo.com classifieds, and 1 Makina Hoshimura Figma from Hobby Search. I’ll show the shirts and other miscellaneous goodies in this post, and do separate photo shoots for the figures soon. Read More
